The Manor House in Trunch, North Norfolk, is ideally situated for visiting the beautiful Norfolk beaches; the Broads; the stately houses of Blickling, Felbrigg, Holkham, Mannington and Wolterton; the wealth of wonderful hidden churches; the local market towns of North Walsham, Cromer, Wroxham and Aylsham; as well as the vibrant city of Norwich with its museums, cathedrals, art galleries, shops, theatres and market. The Manor House itself is a beautifully restored period building in a semi-rural setting at the edge of the village, which hosts a Pub, a lovely church and a Post office. There is easy access to the Bittern Line, the Network Rail connection from Norwich to Sheringham. |

The charming seaside resort of Mundesley with its long sandy beaches, a good range of little shops, restaurants and art galleries is only two miles from Trunch. And for those who enjoy walks, there are miles of footpaths (the House is on the Paston Way) along either the beach or the cliffs. There is public transport to North Walsham, Norwich, Wroxham or Cromer (train or bus) and the coastal villages (bus), available at hourly intervals.
